Sharon Cawood is currently an Area Director for N2 Publishing, a national company serving over 800 communities in 49 states – Turning Neighborhoods Into Communities. She’s experienced in business start-up operations – site research and development, forecasting, budget development and marketing strategy development.

Nancy Maron has over 20 years of experience working at the nexus of publishing, higher education and technology. Her work with the not-for-profit organization Ithaka S+R helped to advance the need for digital initiatives to adopt business practice in order to become sustainable. Today, Nancy works with publishers, librarians and other innovative project leaders to define, test and refine assumptions about new and existing programs and products.

With a bachelor’s in English and K-12 Education and a master’s in Library and Information Sciences, Amber Cross began her career teaching children how to write before she transitioned into ghostwriting. She has ghostwritten many novels and nonfiction texts that span a wide range of genres. Cross is always looking forward to new projects that challenge her creative skills.

Executive Director of Engineering & Network Services for Creospan, Inc., David Chisholm leads both the business development and delivery of wireless networks, including design, deployment and testing, with a strong focus on DAS and Small Cell and turn-key wireless communications solutions (both voice and data).

Kathleen M. Kelley, LCSW, Clinical Social Work Therapist, graduated from Hunter College School of Social Work, with offices on Broadway in Manhattan, NYC. Kelley has a certificate in psychoanalysis from the National Institute of the Psychotherapies. Her client focus ranges from teenagers through adulthood. She works with a variety of clients and in particular with lesbian, gay and alternative lifestyles.

Caitrìona Reed of Five Changes, Warner Springs, CA, guides individuals to find their authentic personal power and vision, and mentors them to make it real in every aspect of their life. She has led workshops, trainings and retreats internationally for more than twenty-five years. She is a Master Trainer of Coaching NLP (Neuro-Linguistic Programming),Gestalt and Ericksonian Hypnosis, and has been authorized as a Zen teacher by renowned Zen Master and Nobel Prize Nominee, Thich Nhat Hanh.

Gordon Townsend took his very first introduction to flight at McGhee Tyson Airport in Knoxville, TN, while he was in high school. He graduated from the University of Alaska with his aviation degree and during his schooling served as a pilot flying in the Alaskan Bush. His stint in Alaska also saw him flying the Cessna Caravan and the Beechcraft 1900 working in the air ambulance service. He eventually returned to the lower 48 to fly corporate jets including the Cessna Citation and Beechcraft jets. After an economic downturn he went into flying cargo for Fed Ex and is presently at Delta Connection flying the CRJ 700/900.

Syldy Tom is Manager at Alliance Resource Consulting – a nationally recognized public sector executive recruiting firm in Long Beach, CA. Tom works on profile analysis, candidate recruitment, screening, and background checks. Her consulting work specializes in city manager recruitment, as well as information technology, community development, and utilities. Previously, she worked for STAR Marquez, a nonprofit educational organization providing enrichment programs to kindergarten-aged children in public schools.

Joseph E. Johnson, Ed.D., served as the University of Tennessee President from 1990 -1999 and Interim President 2003-2004. He is currently President Emeritus. Johnson has served in various high level administrative positions with substantial work in alumni relations, public relations, fundraising, government relations, campus planning, and capital construction. He also has been a liaison to various departments including athletics and served on the board of directors of numerous public organizations.

Christine P. Anderson, Assistant Vice President for Development, is a regional development officer responsible for the cultivation, solicitation and stewardship of five and six figure gift investments for the Marshall University Foundation. Anderson also supervises the University Fund and Scholarship Donor Relations.
